Wuhan Metro Group Co.£¬Ltd. whose
former is Wuhan Rail Transit Limited is approved by Wuhan
Municipal Committee and the municipal government and establish
on May 15, 2007.
Companies registered capital of one
billion yuan, and is a wholly state-owned enterprises. Being
authorized by the Wuhan government, it has the potency of the
Wuhan rail traffic construction, operation, management and
financing.
The Office of Human
Resources, the Ministry of Finance plan, the Ministry of
contract regulations, the Ministry of pre-planning, the
quality of the Ministry of Security, Zonggongban, and
supervision audit Room functional departments are set up.
While the construct headquarters, integrated land development
headquarter and Wuhan subway operating company were set.

First phase of Line 1 project of Wuhan
subway has been completed, with a total investment of 2.199 billion
yuan and a total length of 10.234 km. Congguan, Pacific, Qiaokou,
Congren Road, North Liji Road, friend Road, Jianghan Road, Dazhi
Road, Sanyang Road and Hangpu Road ten stations, a car park, a
center, one of the main 110 KV substation, 6 traction Substation and
seven relief substation, and 48 B type cars are equipped.

First phase of Line
1 project started in December 23, 2000, and it began to operate in
July 28, 2004. The mainly technical of the projects are reaching the
domestic industry with the advanced level in the country. Interval
bridge project won the "Wuhan Municipal Engineering Gold", "Hubei
Services Demonstration Project Gold" and "Jinbei Services
Demonstration Project Gold of China" in 2005.
It is the first
time the equipment system using the moving block signal system in
mainland China which is the high level in the world, and it achieve
implementation of automatic train drivers, automatic parking spot,
unmanned automatic reentrant functions, and the minimum headway can
be reached 90 seconds. B alloy, wheel vibration damping film
technology, steel-aluminum conductor rail technology, were first
used , and has been achieved good results in environmental green,
energy consumption, urban environment and other important
breakthrough.
The company plans to
build the second phase of Line 1 project, first phase of Line 2
project and first phase of Line 4, forming a rail transit network of
70 km long and total investment of about 27.3 billion yuan.
Currently the network planning has been approved by the State
Development and Reform Commission and three lines are established
under construction process.
The
